Snapshot(s): Kat Von D In Love With Sandra Bullock’s Ex Husband

So the speculations were true this time huh?

Jesse James and rumored girlfriend, tattoo artist Kat Von D made their first public outing at the Two Worlds of Art Collide event in West Hollywood last night.

At the event, Kat spoke on her new beau Jesse and claims that the scandal with his ex-wife Sandra Bullock didn’t stop her from building a relationship with him. Apparently she’s known him since she was 22 but they just recently decided to become more than friends:

“Jesse is only my ninth boyfriend. I don’t hang out with anybody unless I am in love. I stayed away from that [the scandal] as much as possible, and when we connected recently, it was such a positive thing. It was just like, ‘Wow, I can’t believe I haven’t spent this much time with you the entire time I’ve known you.’ Now I’m just embracing it and enjoying it.”

I used to like Kat and thought she was awesome, until I started watching her reality show and found myself constantly dumbfounded by her bad judgment. Given her business savvy, her naivete about life in general is kind of bizarre.

And as for Jesse….I have no words for that grimy son of a…..

5 Signs That You Take the Internet Too Seriously & Need to Calm The Fuqq Down

I’m a private person, but not a secretive one.

*pause*

I’ve confused you already haven’t it? Let me explain.

I’m a private person because I grew up in a home where my mother taught me that sacred things should remain sacred. She believed there were things that were special enough to keep to yourself and/or with those in your inner circle. She was a fan of intimacy, was super affectionate, and even though most people don’t know a lot about her – her warmth and sincerity are always evident.

My mother is one of the most jovial and private people I know. And I am definitely her child.

In an age where everyone seems to be in everyone else’s business, reeking havoc and making dangerous, hurtful assumptions – I have none of that. There is no one in my business who wasn’t invited there (by me, specifically). If you hear my name in someone’s mouth they are either marveling at my intense, ballsy, quirkiness, calling me a colorful expletive, or wondering why they know so little about me.

Honestly – I really dig the way I process the world. It’s low on stress, and high on humor, with a good bit of introspection thrown in to keep me grounded.

But with all that being said – I would never call myself a secretive person though. I know many people think private and secretive are synonyms but in my case that couldn’t be any further from the truth.

If you catch me on the right day, in the right mood, and say just the right thing, I could very easily spill my guts to you about any number of things. Big things, little things, ugly things, odd ball things, or even the random deviant type sh*t that I don’t know how to classify.

My private lifestyle is a choice I willingly make – but it doesn’t hold me hostage.

There are no secret truths about my inner workings that I am ashamed of. In fact, I think I am as close to shameless as someone in my socio-economic class can be without being seen as a public menace (Note I said: “in my socio-economic class”. Rich people and celebrities tend to have different rules, and I can’t speak on how my ignorant ass would act if I had the luxury of an Oprah type bank account. Actually even if I was getting Snookie’s 30k an episode paycheck I might act a fool).

Here’s the thing though – after a 12 month hiatus, I recently returned to Twitter this Summer and it has become very apparent that I – Blue Telusma – am a social freak of nature. People like me who don’t feel compelled to spill all my business on the internet (or even in real life) are a dying breed.

Facebook, Twitter, Blogspot and all those other sites are fun, and I frequent them often with my chatter about pop culture, vents about cursing out scallywags in the check out line at Whole Foods, and random musings on the world around me. But I’ll be damned if anyone on the internet could ever claim that they really know me, based off of my web presence. That sh*t is just creepy.

But there are a lot of you out there who do seem to let the lines between the cyber world and the real one bleed so deeply into each other, that they become a clusterfuck of internet beefs, social dramas, melodramatic status updates and “Mean Girls” type clique-ish behavior. And it’s kinda lame.

Yes I said it – I think it’s lame.

And because this internet fuckery has reached ridiculous heights, I’ve come up with a handy list that will hopefully help you (or someone you love) get the help that you so desperately need.

5 Signs That You Take the Internet Too Seriously & Need to Calm The Fuqq Down

1.) If you are over the age of 25 and have met 90% of your friends off the internet, you really need to leave the house and go walk around the block until the fresh air knocks some sense into you.

Yes the web is the way of the future and it’s archaic to marginalize it’s presence in our lives. I’m not a dumb ass. I know all this. But if you are incapable of making authentic connections with people without using your clever profile bio, and flashy web page as an ice breaker – then you should really step back and take a look at that. And while you’re at it, go take a bath because I can smell the “fear of intimacy” all over you.

2.) If you are currently angry (I mean downright irate) at someone based solely on what you deem to be “shady behavior” on their Facebook wall, or Twitter feed - then you my dear are thirsty ass cyber stalker and need to either 1.) get a hobby 2.) drink a glass of gatorade to quench whatever bit of loneliness has left you so parched or 3.) get your back blown out laid.

Some may think suggestion number three is crude – but I have done an informal study on this and noticed that most people who stalk others online are either deprived of sex or affection (i.e., whether you need a hug or a penis in your life – either way someone needs to touch your ass STAT).

3.) Your sense of worth is based on how many people “Follow” you on Twitter, “Like” your status updates, or send you friends requests. Ok so let me get this straight: 5,000 random people found something you said fleetingly amusing and decided to haphazardly click a button with a thumbs up…and now because of that, all your problems are resolved?

Screw your money woes, lack of friends, and general dismay that your life is a total abyss of nothingness. Let’s forget the way you cling to your pillow at night like a spider monkey crying yourself to sleep. Oh and that horrible job you have where you’re underpaid and overworked….so what? who cares!

Afterall, some dude named Tyrone from Yuma, Arizona is now following your tweets and thinks your profile picture is “real Sexii nahmean?!”…and that girl who blogs in her parent’s basement named you the “Dimepiece of the Week” on her Tumblr account.

So yeah…that must count for something right? Who needs personal fulfillment when complete strangers are so ready and willing to stroke your fragile ego?

Sidenote: If you have ever found yourself typing a thinly veiled boast like: “Oh gosh…it’s so hard sorting through my 516 friends requests. I hate that I’m so popular and special”….on behalf of everyone on earth, I would like to respectfully ask you to shut the fuqq up.

4.) If the internet went down for 24 hours you would kill yourself.
Look – I publish web content on a semi popular website. This means at any given moment I am either writing a blog entry, reading a blog enry, or responding to emails. So as a rule I am online a good amount of time. But a few weekends ago when my internet connection went down, do you know what I did? I slept in late, went to the movies, ate a yummy brunch, did laundry, got hugs and kisses from my favorite 6 year old, and laughed with close friends till I got dizzy.

In other words: it was a bomb ass weekend.

But if the mere thought of spending a day (or *gasp* even two!) without an internet connection makes you break into a cold sweat and reach for your iPhone…..then uh…yeah. Things are probably getting out of hand. Nothing should have that much of a hold on you.

5.) You read this piece, saw yourself in it, and now want to kick my ass.
Oh yeah? You and what army?

Some of you are gonna read this list and be extra salty. And that’s fine. You see that little red box in the right hand corner with the X on it? If at any moment my snark gets to be too much…it’s always there waiting to set you free.

But I suspect that whether you want to admit it or not…many of you see where I’m coming from. The internet is meant to enhance your life; not replace it. The fact that I even have to point that out blows me.

Ne-Yo Opens Up About New Beyonce Album

Only a week after hitting the studio with Beyonce, Ne-yo is already shedding some light on how their recording sessions are going.

It’s coming along nicely. I can’t speak too much on it, but it’s another direction for her, and she’s carving out her own niche. In a minute nobody will be in Beyonce’s lane. They really can’t get in her lane now, but they really can’t get in her lane after this album.

That’s a bold statement to make so soon into the process. I’m curious to see what this new direction of hers is. The second I get any audio, I’ll keep you guys posted.

Sneak Peek: Rihanna’s New Book

Rizzoli Publications has unveiled the very first look at Rihanna’s new book. Advances of the book arrived yesterday, and comes complete with a well packaged die-cut cover…

According to the singer, the book will feature images that people have never seen before. “It’s like a backstage pass, like a fashion book. It is a creation of ‘Rated R’ from step one all the way to what it is now” she says “From all the steps, how it was created and how it came to this”.

The upcoming coffee table book is in collaboration with artistic director Simon Henwood and will be released this month. The book serves as an accompaniment to Rihanna’s 2009 album ‘Rated R’. The book was originally titled ‘Rihanna: The Last Girl on Earth’ after her tour, but was later changed to simply ‘Rihanna’.

Snapshot(s): Kanye & Selita = A Good Look

Spread eagle in white pants son? Like…really?
Only Kanye could do this without me saying all typsa ratchet sh*t.

Kanye, Selita Ebanks, Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr were spotted enjoying the festivities at the U.S. Open as they watched Andy Roddick from the comfort of a suite in the Arthur Ashe Stadium yesterday.

I don’t know if you guys remember, but Kanye and Selita were rumored to be dating a couple of years ago. Out of all the random scallywags that have been snapped with him…I would be hella cool with this particular rumor being a reality.

Anyone who watched Celebrity Apprentice saw how classy, headstrong, and about her business Selita is, and that’s exactly the type of female I see the new “Power Remix” version of ‘Ye doing well with.

Plus you know…the fact that she’s a Victoria Secret model doesn’t hurt.

T.I & Tiny Get Arrested?!

According to TMZ, TI and Tiny were reportedly arrested early this morning for alleged possession of a controlled substance. They were taken into custody by law enforcement in West Hollywood and were released around 4:00a.m.

Via TMZ:

Law enforcement sources tell us L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over the multi-platinum selling rapper and his wife in a Maybach on Sunset Boulevard around 10:30PM.

Deputies say they smelled marijuana, and after searching the vehicle they arrested T.I. and Tameka. The couple just got married on July 30 in Miami, and T.I. — real name Clifford Harris Jr. — is on probation after doing seven months in prison on federal weapons charges. We’re told T.I. and Tameka are in custody right now. Bail amount is $10,000.

The couple just got married on July 30th in Miami, and T.I. is on probation after doing seven months in prison on federal weapons charges.

Maybe it’s me but I’m starting to think that Tiny is taking this “ride or die chick” thing a little too far. On her BET reality show, even from jail T.I seemed really controlling and now this?

Isn’t love supposed to make you better? This is beginning to look like one of those toxic co-dependent Bobby/Whitney type deals. The fact that you had to wait a decade, pop out 50-11 kids, and wait for him to come out of lock-up before he would marry you…should have been the first red flag.
